About Us
Overview
Our school was founded in 1983 by Francisco X. and Ines F. Portillo. It started as a small Children's House class, and it has grown to 5 classrooms that accommodate about 150 students. All these carefully prepared environments are equipped with the full array of Montessori materials and handmade extensions, designed to meet the developmental needs of each particular age group:

Infant Community
Nido - 2 months to 18 months
Young Children's Community - 18 months to 3 years.

Children's House - 3 to 6 years

Lower Elementary - 6 to 9 years

Upper Elementary - 9 to 12 years
Mission Statement
The mission of New World Montessori School is to assist children in reaching their full potential through every stage of their development, and to care for them as human beings created in the image of God. We are committed to fulfill our mission based on the Word of God, and assisted by the implementation of the educational philosophy and principles of the Montessori Method. Our ultimate goal is to give honor and glory to the Most High.
